You can never go wrong with a gift basket! It’s a creative way to include multiple items to make someone feel special. I have to admit, I am a huge procrstinator so I may have just thrown this together this morning! The good news is, if you’re still looking for that gift for Mom tomorrow you can easily run to target and grab these items!
I have been seeing these very pretty Threshold baskets from Target. I love the modern feel they give off with the leather handle and they come in multiple sizes. The best part, they are very affordable! The reason why I love giving a basket is that it can be used in some many places in their home! This basket is perfect to use for styling a plant, on a shelf, in a built in, etc. It’s a very versatile piece!
I wanted to add something with a pop of color so I found these beautiful flower print jammies that are seriously the softest material ever! I know personally I don’t buy myself pretty pajamas and I often end up sleeping in the shirt I wore for the day because #momlife, but as Mom’s we should feel pretty even if we’re just going to bed! With summer approaching these are cute and comfortable and the material is definitely breathable.
I passed by a display of a new Ever Spring Handsoap and the labels had pretty soft colors that matched the pajamas! They are a non-toxic, bio-based, cruelty free, and paraben free company which is always a bonus.
I saved the Hearth & Hand section for last. It’s one of my favorite sections in Target! Well let’s be honest – every section is my favorite! The Spring decor out right now is absolutely stunning. I could have bought everything! I decided a nice addition to this gift basket would be this cute stoneware mug that says “You’re the Bees Knees.” I love how simple and clean this mug all while being really cute!
This wrapped up my Target trip and then I headed over to Michael’s. I knew I wanted to add some kind of faux flowers to the basket and this was the perfect spot to stop! If you have the Michael’s app there is a coupon for 20% you entire purchase even on sale items! All floral is 50% off too! I grabbed a bundle of faux white tulips and it was plenty to split between the four baskets I made! I tied each bundle with a light colored twine and added the bundle in! These are great to use for styling anywhere in your home as well! On my way out I passed by the rack of magazines and I have to be honest. I never to stop to look at them, but something made me turn and stop. There are beautiful magazines that are pretty enough to double up as a decor item! I grabbed a copy of “In Her Studio” which is a collection of spaces and stories of creative women.
I can picture a nice Sunday morning with a hot cup of coffee, in the softest pajamas, reading through this magazine. Can you?!
